Position Overview
We are seeking a Staff Field Applications Engineer to deliver technical expertise and on‑site support for Shield AI enterprise software worldwide. The role focuses on implementation, integration, and customer enablement of AI‑driven autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end software implementation for enterprise customers.
• Provide on‑site and remote technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Conduct customer training sessions and develop usage best practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to capture feedback and drive product improvements.
• Develop integration scripts, APIs, and custom solutions to meet client requirements.
• Travel internationally to customer sites, ensuring successful deployment and adoption.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in field applications engineering, software integration, or technical support for AI/robotics platforms.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of AI, computer vision, and autonomous system architectures.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ROS, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, RESTful APIs, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Customer‑facing experience in a fast‑paced, high‑technology environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects.
