Senior Technical Field Engineer

Senior Technical Field Engineer based in Sydney, responsible for installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and servicing computer‑related products including desktop and laptop computers, printers, and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware and software for desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.
• Diagnose technical issues and perform on‑site troubleshooting.
• Maintain equipment performance through regular servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Provide technical support and training to end‑users.
• Document service activities, generate reports, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in field engineering or technical support roles.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking basics, and peripheral devices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and customer‑focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites within the Sydney region.
